a light, translucent stone thumb ring (banzhi) made of xiuyu stone from liaoning, china — sold in china as xiuyu jade. every one is marked differently.
xiuyu jade. translucent, and no two alike — the markings don't sit in bands or veins, they spread and pool, closer to splashed ink than to a pattern.
grey on some, dark green on others. you get the one you get.
the light one. 0.6 oz / 18 g against 1.5 oz / 43 g for the other three, and narrow with it. it spins faster. it's the one you stop noticing you're wearing.
heads up: it sits loose. that's the archery design, and it's what lets it turn. it also means it comes off — put it on a cord when you're not playing with it.
